ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED AUGUST 31, 2017 Hear ye...Hear ye... 13East Entertainment closed out the summer with a BANG! This summer Ms. V traveled all over her state getting caught in a whirlwind of things that kept her busy. Not includinng representing for her artists in order to further 13EE progress, as well as holding donation campaigns for various concerns through her charity foundation, PeterPaul Foundation Of Oakland. There was just so much to do, but hardly any time to do it all. We knew we were striving a bit too hard this year when we began to forget to eat regularly...lol, so we slowed down the pace but still made it eventful for the webazine this season. We truly enjoyed the interactions with people this year all over the state of Michigan. As we visited through many city's, Ms. V listened to various artists in various global locations for summer premieres. Being drowned in art allowed Ms. V's to get lost in her cerebral creativity as she lead the way through this seasons events. We here at 13EE, keep an open mind to various global cultures. We understand that the world is full of creativity hidden behind a global mass. We enjoy seeing the global front identify itself amongst the world and become exposed as a new development in art. This is why it was hardly a surprise when we reviewed the eclectic talent chosen for this season. THE TALENTED Our first selected artist to premiere was the leathel noir-rock group Bunyi Sembunyi. Bunyi Sembounyi is a talented band residing in Kuala Lumpur. They liked Ms. V's concept and chose to premiere their rockin' LP through us. Their name, which translate over to: Sounds Hide, lets you know that they are coming with a heavy guitar and blasting amp. We premiered them in March 2017, and after you have checked them out, dont be afraid to vote for them. The more votes, the more they can claim a 13EE TITLE of NYEBlowOut champ for 2017! Watch them NOW on our #YouTube channel..... https://youtu.be/d0k1GmWfQyE Next Up... This Artists shouldn't need a huge introduction, but considering he did WIN the 2016 NYEBlowOut! I mean, he HAVE been kicking out some serious FIRE for 2017, leaving quite a few pretend artists in his dust. The Champ, served us with some serious potential when BUMPY103 Introduced his head cracker- BERSERK. We released his killing feature in June while the Prince slayed across New York with radio, night club and magazine features. Keep up with the Champ through his Instagram banebxxgie27 or listen to his blazing premiere HERE on our Channel.... https://youtu.be/74GMcPA_Pys ( Vote for your artist) Next to kill his feature was a artist from Lansing, Michigan that goes by the name of Young Ke's. Young Ke's has been killing the Lansing underground for years now. His blade sharpens with each stroke of his tongue as he continues to blaze the scene. His first feature came on strong with a banging double submission. "In The A.M", and Gotta Go Get It" shows he is a fierce competitor in his region. Click or copy/paste the link provided to listen to Young Ke's on our Youtube Channel..... https://youtu.be/VswdLJq_7JU (Vote for your artist) Last but not least may we introduce to you all the way from Sacramento California, JR Wagner. JR Wagner is a producer in California and sent us two instrumental submissions. The first to feature is 'MatchStick' followed by 'Strait Jacket Lullaby'. Both are heavily hiphop influenced and deserves skill recognition. Don't forget to vote for the instrumentalist JR Wagner to become a finalist in the 2017 NYEBlowOut. In the meantime give him a listen on our channel..... https://youtu.be/Qz1sIr76-Rc (Vote for your artist) Four of the strongest artist appeared in our Summer '17 channel and Webazine. Maybe next ime it'll be you...! Submissions Links available on Twitter @EasternEmpire13 SUMMER '17 Besides picking through various talent, Ms. V did much traveling throughout the months of July and August to various Classic Car locations. Since Ms. V has always been a softy for a good old school model, trying to talk her out of it was nearly impossible. At first we were like mehhh, but it wasn't long for us to understand and appreciate her love for the hardbody beauties. The location that stood out the most was at the M1 RoadKill Drag Race event in Pontiac, MI. When the police shut down Woodward, a very famous street between Pontiac and Detroit, we then knew it was some serious -ish going on! The best and most fastest took to the streets and battled it out as they raced for qualifications and then bragging rights. For more, watch the RoadKill drag video here on our YouTube channel.... https://youtu.be/X42CBZ1EYj4 Ms. V was a very busy lady. Between chasing classic cars, admiring cultures, teaching the youth through her communications, staying on top of her creations and being a mom, she also balances having a peronal life... 13EE Ms. V Summer '17 review https://youtu.be/5OxebWotnXw ** She had fun this summer as she inspired many. Here are the links to other short videos she made over these short three months... 13EE When you're supposed to get ready for the club https://youtu.be/sy23JYujxB8 13EE QuickSnap..How it is https://youtu.be/hueBiRb8y48 13EE QuickSnap..Barber https://youtu.be/fW23ZJM7kwE 13EE I think I need a Gigolo https://youtu.be/J4qbe8kM_s0 13EE Tempting a Cougar https://youtu.be/SPQWVN0hhCE DIGITAL LOVE Sorry fella's but this section is All for the ladies. This summer wasn't very hot however Ms.V made due and displayed some of her fashion sense as she rocked three of her summer faves. First pick is a cute pair of Lucien Cognac Wedge from JustFab. Not only did they look great on her feet, she explained how she didn't have to sacrifice style for comfortability. Never mind the fact that they look great anf can go with damn near anything thanks to it being a neutral color. Second hot choice pick happened to be a light blush nude, ankle buckle heel from Windsor. This could also be used as a neutral color but she was able to pull it off with colors of rose gold with ripped blue jean, colorful flirty smock, or rockin skirt. We asked why the choice, she replied with a smirk... "Every girl needs a little bondage." The last and final choice to this section had to do with the love we had for this nail design. This Andy Warhol pop art design definitely started the summer with a bang of creativity. Nail Art, artist Goldie really knocked it out of the park with each hand design. Charity PeterPaul Foundation Of Oakland Despite our best efforts, PPFO was not successful with our yearly Homeless Drive. As always, PPFO original long term goal is to assist the village of Amizmiz with reading English. This is still our goal, however we also rise to short term goals to meet inbetween growing support for the villagers. Although we are disappointed at the outcome, we are still quite determined. Hopefully through many, we will either meet our short term goals or match our long term goal. Either way, forward progress is progress.
